Montage of Game Birds

News - Top Diagnoses for 2007 season

The general situation in the 2007 rearing season was not dramatically different than that of 2006, although coccidiosis as the principal cause of a disease syndrome climbed up the chart for pheasants. This is disappointing, as we had thought that we were achieving better control. It does pay to monitor oocyst output during rear. Rotavirus is now more frequently being seen in Partridges and must be regarded as an indication of lapsed bio-security.

Contract and Registered members of the Practice have access to more detail of the various problems encountered through the Members Only pages. The access code has changed and will be sent to you as soon as your arrangement with us is confirmed.
