Preventing disease is always cheaper than treating it, so our objective is to work with our

clients to rear their birds as free of disease as possible and then provide for a disease-free release.

To do this we need to have a good understanding of what YOUR objectives are. We can only do this

properly by visiting you and planning a health control programme with you from the day the birds

arrive until the day they are presented for shooting.

Good husbandry of the laying stock is the essential foundation for high productivity with high

fertility and hatchability. With our close knowledge of your own set-up we can devise a vaccination and

disease control programme to meet your specific needs.

Your hatchery. Our years of experience of all shapes and sizes of hatcheries puts us in an ideal

position to help design the best management system for your premises. This will help you convert

hose nice clean eggs into nice healthy chicks to rear or for sale.

Careful planning of the rearing field, with

particular attention to water supply and feeders is vital in getting birds ready to be placed at wood, with

minimal mortality and maximum food conversion

efficiency. Each client is supplied with a specific

Veterinary health Plan to achieve this target.

The Release Pen. The final step is to provide an

environment in the release pen that allows the birds

to continue their development, once again building-in

all the necessary controls to minimise the effects of

disease.
