About Us |
John Dalton BVMS MRCVS, owner and Managing Director, was brought up in Salisbury and graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1970. He has worked at Bristol Veterinary School and in general practice in Cornwall, Somerset and Wiltshire since. A keen fisherman and shot, he has been running the company since 1998, moving it in 2002 from Downton (it's home for more than 20 years) to Amesbury. |

Rita Alves DVM MRCVS was born in South Africa but was brought up in Portugal and graduated DVM from the University of Lisbon. Since then she has worked in Portugal and the United Kingdom. She has previous experience of disease control, prevention and farm audits in the poultry industry. Whilst in the UK she has attended the Poultry Health Course at the Institute for Animal Health, including the section on Game Birds. |

The office team remains unchanged this year, being managed by Sandra Abbey who started with us in May 2007. Sandra is ably assisted by Nicola Fowle, now in her second year with us, and will now handle requests for medicated feeds. |
